We, in India, Welcome Every Progressive Idea

A video-conference devoted to the international in-depth training which students of three RosNOU branches had taken at the International Institute of Information Technology (Puna, India) was held in the University.

Yuri S. Rudenko, pro-rector for academic studies (territorial branches of RosNOU) opened the meeting. He spoke about international education programs of the University and prospects of their development. The international in-depth training in India was based on one of these programs which are known as “Education inclusive”.

Then Vladimir A. Minaev, pro-rector for academic studies, spoke about the main aims of the international in-depth training at the I2IT. They are as follows:

  • upgrading information technology knowledge and skills;
  • providing an opportunity to get acquainted with advanced education technologies in Puna;
  • introducing students to the culture of this wonderful country;
  • many other aims.

Then the conference participants were introduced to the International Institute of Information Technology. They watched a brilliant presentation of slides depicting students’ accommodation quarters and lecture-rooms.

“There are specialists in every sphere of science and technology and you can discuss any problem with them”, said Ilya Ivanov (Orekhovo-Zuyevo branch of RosNOU) who participated in the in-depth training. “You are sure to be a success if you come to India with interesting ideas!”

Finally the Indian representative taking part in the video-conference spoke of fruitful cooperation between the two educational institutions. He said they hoped the cooperation would go on.
