Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for the CIS Countries Comes to RosNOU

On November 13, 2010, Igor Morozov, chairman of the RF Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States (Rossotrudnichestvo), and Mark Kalinin, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo department of Education and Science came to RosNOU.

Vladimir Zernov, rector of RosNOU, Sergei Dvoryankin, RosNOU vice rector for information and communication, Vladimir Minaev, vice rector for academic issues and Grigoriy Shabanov, vice rector, and the guests discussed the issue of cooperation between Rossotrudnichestvo and Russian diasporas in the CIS countries. They stressed that the role of information technologies in the process could scarcely be overestimated. RosNOU researchers demonstrated their developments in the sphere of videoconferencing technologies. The participants of the meeting also discussed their application potential to help expand contacts and to develop videoconferencing with many countries of the world including the CIS countries.

Igor Morozov appreciated the RosNOU developments highly. He said he was sure they could be of interest to people in different countries. He suggested that RosNOU should participate in exhibitions that Rossotrudnichestvo was holding abroad.

Besides, Igor Morozov was shown the RosNOU pride – the “Cardiocode” device. He tried it himself. The RosNOU accomplishments made a great impression on him.
