«I feel happy taking part in a real project…»

On November, 2010 Daniil Donij, a forth-year student of the RosNOU Department of Information Systems and Computer Technology, went to undertake his internship to India. He will be studying in the RosNOU partner-university – the Indian Institute of Information Technology in Allahabad (IIIT-Allahabad). In this interview he shares his first impressions with the RosNOU Center for International Education officials…

D.D.: «They came to meet me at the airport and brought me to the university. It is so beautiful and civilian around there. I stay in the hostel for visitors. I will start my studies and work tomorrow. I have not yet quite apprehended that I am abroad, though the climate and the people here differ very much from those in Russia. People are very friendly, everything is just wonderful…»

«…It’s great. I am going to take part in the work of introducing a new electronic access system in the university. People are sociable and well educated. As it is an international university, everybody speaks English here, all classes and seminars are held in English».

«…I studied different types of access monitoring systems, explored the university campus trying to choose which system would do better for the university. Then I presented my report… Most probably, I will be working on the database and software adaptation. To tell you the truth, I feel happy to take part in a real project, being a pioneer at that».
