RosNOU and the International School of Management of Paris Ready for Cooperation

January 6, 2011

On December 8, 2010 the delegation from the International School of Management of Paris (Ecole Internationale de Management de Paris, EIMP), represented by the CEO Theresa Vezhda and Doctor of Philosophy, MBA Sergey Kazantsev, visited the Russian New University.

The participants of the meeting discussed the development strategy of international internship programs and other forms of cooperation between RosNOU and EIMP.

Theresa Vezhda said: “Internships will help to set up a network of contacts to facilitate students with an opportunity to work in France. Naturally we can’t guarantee that every student will get a job, but Russian students will undoubtedly have an opportunity to study and get experience working in the best French hotels”.

After the meeting Natalia Morozova said: “It goes without saying that tourism is the sphere which requires necessary skills and knowledge of international principles of tourist industry. Tourist streams have no boundaries that is why our students should have strong skills of interpersonal communication on the international level, flexibility and experience of working for foreign companies.

Mrs. Vezhda and we discussed the possibility of developing a joint training program within the framework of the Master’s degree and MBA programs. This year we have obtained a license for a Master’s degree training program. Now we are making ready high-quality practical courses including an MBA course. That is why we are interested in the prospects of cooperation with our French partners.

The talks showed that our French colleagues are ready to work in this direction.

Besides, the prospects of our cooperation have already attracted interest: a student from the Department of Business-technologies in Tourist and Travel Industry is already working in one of the most famous French hotels. This year another student is going to the French Chamonix for her pre-degree practice.

Today we had a very productive meeting with EIMP and I am sure, its results will be very useful for our students. Employers appreciate International certificates, which are sure to raise the status of the Department of Business-technologies in Tourist and Travel Industry training programs. Our graduates will have a fair chance to get a good job”.
