The Russian New University and the State School of Higher Professional Education (SSHPE) of the city of Plotsk, Poland, have been collaborating within the framework of the Agreement on Scientific and Educational Cooperation for four years already. The new academic year of 2011-2012 began with an impressive opening ceremony. Professor Vladimir Minaev, vice-rector of RosNOU, and Nafis Gadelshina, director of the RosNOU Health Saving Technology Center, attended the event.

Last week the monitoring results of non-governmental universities freshman admission quality were announced by the National Research University “Higher School of Economics” and RIA “Novosti”. This research was held on the Russian Federation Public Chamber’s initiative within the framework of the project “Public Monitoring of Freshman Admission at the RF Universities as a Necessary Condition to Support the Equal Access to Education”.

On Monday, November 14, 2011, a group of students from Istituto Professionale de Stato per l’industria El’artigianato A.Meucci (Italy) arrived at the Russian New University (RosNOU). This visit was arranged within the frameworks of a student exchange program.

On November 9, 2011, there was held a meeting of the talking shop “Uley” ("The Hive"). The discussion covered various problems of the Russian health-care system improvement. A lot of officials concerned with the issue took part in the event, including Vladimir Zernov, rector of the Russian New University (RosNOU), Olesya Plaksina, head of the Longevity and Healthy Active Life Project, Vladimir Kupin, head of the RF RSPP New Technologies Committee, Mikhael Fedorov, an adviser to the head of administration of the RF Public Chamber, Ilya Vesker, an authorized representative of the Federal Quality Supervision Service of the RF Health-care System and Alexander Ermoshkin , head of the “United Russia” Supporters Central Council Organizing Committee.
