Vladimir Zernov Took Part in the Meeting of the Talking Shop “Uley” (“the Hive”), Devoted to The Russian Public Health-care System Improvement

Before the meeting the participants could take a checkup of their cardiovascular systems conditions with the help of the innovative medical equipment called "Cardiocode”, developed by RosNOU scientists.

Olesya Plaksina said that transition to the preventive medicine would enable the Russian health-care system to reduce state budget spending by 5 times. She brought up a problem, concerning some medical equipment standing idle as a result of insufficient skills of those physicians for who this equipment was acquired.

Valdimir Zernov assured those present that the improvement of the Russian health-care system and implementation of modern technologies would make the RF Medicine the best one in the world. In particular, the device "Cardiocode" will make it possible to prevent cardiovascular diseases thus increasing average life expectancy by 7-8 years. The rector of RosNOU suggested that the work of physicians should be assessed not by the number of patients received, but by the lifetime figures in their district.

Ilya Vesker called upon the participants to pay attention to the governmental program, which implies the transition of the RF Health- care system to insurance medicine. It will help to create a competitive environment for healthcare organizations, and thus to improve the quality of medical service.

Summing up the meeting results, Alexander Ermoshkin called for action and expresses his hopes that all the proposals made during the meeting will be implemented in the near future.
