Madrid hosted conference “Cooperation between Russian and foreign industrial parks”
An International conference entitled «Cooperation between Russian and foreign industrial parks: an experience of creating and developing innovative infrastructure» was held in Madrid (The Kingdom of Spain). Russian Ministry of Education and Science, «Systema-Sarov» industrial park, Federal State Institution «Research Institute – Republican research and consulting expert center» and International Association of Science Parks (IASP) organized the conference as a part of the Year of Russia in Spain program.
Almost 70 leaders of Russian and foreign industrial parks, representatives of higher education institutions and scientific centers along with Russian and Spanish executive authorities took part in the conference.
It was the governor of Nizhny Novgorod region, Valeriy Shantsev, who opened the plenary meeting and told about the achievements and innovations in the region, and the head of RosNOU Vladimir Zernov who closed it by giving a lecture «Education as catalyst of innovative development».
The conference developed in the form of panel discussions where such issues as cooperation in the area of technology, the future of Russian and European industrial parks and the role of science and industrial parks in the development of the global economy were raised.
