Russian National Association of Applied Linguistics conducted a workshop in Russian New University (RosNOU)

RosNOU held a workshop on “Effective methods of teaching translation and interpreting at higher institutions”, that is a part of Saturday series of seminars conducted for almost 3 years by NAAL’s Commission of Translation and Interpreting (coordinated by Olga Y. Ivanova, Dean of School of Humanities and Foreign Languages) in cooperation with School of Foreign Languages and Area Studies of Lomonosov MSU.

Headlined “Issues and methods of translation teaching”, the workshop was carried out as a video conference. Nadezhda S. Kasantseva, professor of Ural Federal University and head of Sverdlovsk department of Union of Translators of Russia, conducted the seminar and presented her original methodology to the participants.

Academic staff from RosNOU, Lomonosov MSU, Moscow University of Economics, Management and Law, Sholokhov MSOU and other Moscow higher education institutions also took part in the workshop.
