An International conference entitled «Cooperation between Russian and foreign industrial parks: an experience of creating and developing innovative infrastructure» was held in Madrid (The Kingdom of Spain). Russian Ministry of Education and Science, «Systema-Sarov» industrial park, Federal State Institution «Research Institute – Republican research and consulting expert center» and International Association of Science Parks (IASP) organized the conference as a part of the Year of Russia in Spain program.

On March 15, Theresa Vejda, the CEO of the International School of Management of Paris (Ecole Internationale de Management de Paris, EIMP), came to the International Education Center of the Russian New University (RosNOU). The main subject at the meeting was the development of joint Educational Programs for students in the following areas: tourism, management, marketing, economy.

On February 18, 2011, Stella Sivakova, Professor of the Russian language and literature at the SOKA University of Japan, made a friendly visit to RosNOU. Professor Sivakova has been living and working in Japan for 17 years already. She came to thank the RosNOU officials on behalf of the SOKA University administration for the Russian Language Week in Japan organized by the RosNOU teaching staff.

In January, 2011 Philippe Millet, president of IFE institution (Formation des Elus) and a committee member of an NGO ― European Network of Training Organizations for Local and Regional Authorities (ENTO*), met with the RosNOU Center for International Education officials.

The participants of the meeting discussed prospects of RosNOU joining ENTO to take part in the EU grant programs supporting education programs for the EU and the RF local and regional authorities.

* ENTO (European Network of Training Organizations for Local and Regional Authorities) is a non-profit NGO. It is financed by the contribution of its member-states. The Council of Europe and member-organizations also provide it with financial support, as well as personnel, equipment and resources. The ENTO head-office is in Strasbourg.

On December 13-14, 2010 there was held an All-Russian Innovation Forum "Russia, Forward!" at the Moscow School of Management “Scolkovo”. The 19^th conference of the Commission for Modernization and Technological Development of Russian Economy was held within the framework of the Forum, with Dmitry A. Medvedev, the Russian President, as its chairman. The Third All-Russia Innovation Youth Convent and other events also took place within the framework of the Forum.

On December 8, 2010 the delegation from the International School of Management of Paris (Ecole Internationale de Management de Paris, EIMP), represented by the CEO Theresa Vezhda and Doctor of Philosophy, MBA Sergey Kazantsev, visited the Russian New University.

The participants of the meeting discussed the development strategy of international internship programs and other forms of cooperation between RosNOU and EIMP.

On November, 2010 Daniil Donij, a forth-year student of the RosNOU Department of Information Systems and Computer Technology, went to undertake his internship to India. He will be studying in the RosNOU partner-university – the Indian Institute of Information Technology in Allahabad (IIIT-Allahabad). On December 14, 2010, the Russian Non-governmental Academies Association (ANVUZ ) and the Expert Council on Non-governmental Education Institutions of the Russian Federation State Duma Committee on Education held their extended meetings in the Russian New University.

The main topic of the two meetings was a federal draft law “On Education in the Russian Federation”.
